About

I am a product strategist, designer, researcher, and founder who helps teams turn ambiguous problems into products, product decisions, and systems that can move work forward.

How I got here

I spent 15 years in film and television production before moving into product. That work taught me how to understand an audience, build a clear narrative, collaborate across disciplines, and finish complex work under real constraints. It included a screenwriting credit on TUMBLE, which was listed on The Black List.

In product, I have worked across enterprise SaaS, digital transformation, and product strategy at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Nutrien, and Esko. I work at the intersection of customer evidence, product choices, usable design, and the practical systems needed to deliver.

What I bring to a team

I run Misfit Island, a strategy, research, and design practice focused on products, services, and brand experiences. The work includes product strategy, customer research, product and experience design, and brand activation.

I have built products and capabilities from zero: as the first employee at a second-screen startup, as the founder of an AI coaching platform now in beta, and as the architect of an internal ResearchOps practice that reduced annual external spend by $50K. Those experiences have made me comfortable moving between problem framing, workshop facilitation, product design, roadmapping, partner conversations, and execution.

Outside of work

I coach girls varsity and JV basketball at Mountain View High School in Loveland, Colorado. Coaching is where a lot of my thinking about feedback loops, motivation, and team dynamics gets pressure-tested in real time.
